JUNG KNX Jalousieaktor REG -kotelo 4TE 2502 REGHE

Managing blinds and shutters in a KNX building automation system often requires a reliable actuator that can handle multiple loads while fitting neatly into a distribution board. The JUNG 2502REGHE is a 4-channel shutter actuator designed for DIN rail mounting, providing precise control of 230 V AC drives for blinds, shutters, awnings, and similar motorized shading systems. Its compact 4 TE (module units) housing saves valuable space in electrical cabinets, making it ideal for both new installations and retrofits.

Who is it for

This actuator is intended for electricians, system integrators, and building automation professionals who need a dependable KNX device for controlling up to four independent shutter or blind motors. It suits residential, commercial, and light industrial projects where centralized or distributed control of solar shading is required, including integration with sun protection and safety functions.

Main features

• 4 independent channels for controlling 230 V AC shutter/blind motors, each with a maximum switching current of 6 A inductive load.
• DIN rail (REG) mounting with a width of only 4 TE (72 mm), optimizing space in distribution boards.
• Manual operation via push buttons on the device for on-site testing and commissioning without bus power.
• KNX bus connection via standard bus terminal, powered directly from the KNX bus (21–30 V DC).
• Supports advanced functions such as position feedback, scene integration, sun protection, and safety alarms (e.g., wind/rain).
• Configurable with ETS (Engineering Tool Software) for flexible parameterization of travel times, slat adjustment, and interlocks.
• Robust plastic housing with IP20 protection, suitable for indoor use in dry environments.
• CE certified, operating temperature range from -5 °C to +45 °C, and relative humidity up to 93% non-condensing.

Tips

For optimal performance, ensure the actuator is installed in a distribution board with adequate ventilation and protected from moisture. When configuring with ETS, take advantage of the sun protection and safety functions to automatically retract awnings or close shutters in response to wind or rain sensors. Use the manual push buttons during installation to verify motor wiring before applying bus voltage.
