Kaapeli Mini DisplayPort - VGA Sharkoon 0,15 m

The Sharkoon Mini DisplayPort to VGA cable (0.15 m) connects devices with a Mini DisplayPort output to displays with a VGA (D-Sub) input. With a compact 0.15 m length and gold-plated connectors, the cable is suitable for short-distance connections in confined setups and supports Mini DisplayPort 1.2 features while remaining backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.1.

Advantages

The cable offers a short, space-saving design that reduces cable clutter and is convenient for laptop-to-monitor or projector connections. Gold-plated connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Support for Mini DisplayPort 1.2 allows higher-resolution capability (4K ready) while maintaining compatibility with older DisplayPort 1.1 devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or tablets with Mini DisplayPort to VGA projectors
• Connecting Mini DisplayPort-equipped PCs to VGA monitors
• Short-distance desktop setups where a compact cable is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.15 m
• Connector 1: Mini DisplayPort (supports V1.2, backwards compatible with V1.1)
• Connector 2: VGA (D-Sub)
• Colour: White
• Gold-plated connectors
• Resolution support: 1900 x 1200 (4K ready capability noted by manufacturer)

How to use

Plug the Mini DisplayPort end into the Mini DisplayPort output on your laptop, tablet or PC, then connect the VGA end to the display, monitor or projector. The cable is plug-and-play; most systems will detect the external display automatically. If necessary, adjust display settings in your operating system to configure resolution, scaling or extended/duplicate display modes.

Recommendations

Use this short 0.15 m cable for close-proximity connections to avoid excess cable length. Ensure the source device supports Mini DisplayPort video output; for optimal results set the display resolution to a supported value (e.g., 1900 x 1200). For longer distances or active conversion needs, consider an active converter cable or longer cable option.
