Kaapeli shiverpeaks Basic-S 100 m monivärinen

The ShiverPeaks Basic-S 100 m Multicolour cable is a flexible, 100-metre length cable featuring a multicolour conductor identification and a grey outer sheath. Designed to meet BS76840-100 standards, this cable is suitable for a range of installations where reliable signal and power distribution is required. The construction offers mechanical durability and adaptability for both indoor and outdoor use, enabling straightforward routing and colour-coded identification during installation.

Advantages

This cable combines a long 100 m length with multicolour conductor identification to simplify installation and reduce wiring errors. The grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance while offering protection against everyday mechanical wear. Compliance with BS76840-100 indicates consistent manufacturing quality and suitability for many typical wiring scenarios. The cable's flexibility allows for easier handling in confined spaces and across longer runs.

Suitable for

• Indoor electrical and signal wiring where conductor identification is beneficial
• Outdoor installations with appropriate protection from direct environmental exposure
• Temporary and permanent installations for events, studios, and stage setups
• Structured cabling projects requiring colour-coded conductors for easier identification

Key specifications

• Length: 100 metres
• Outer sheath colour: grey
• Conductor identification: multicolour
• Standard compliance: BS76840-100
• Application: suitable for indoor and outdoor use (with appropriate protection outdoors)

How to use

Plan the cable route and verify required length and conductor assignments before installation. Use the multicolour conductors to match circuit diagrams and reduce connection mistakes. For permanent outdoor routing, protect the cable from direct sunlight, standing water, and mechanical damage using conduit or appropriate trunking. Cut and terminate the cable ends with suitable connectors or terminals, ensuring proper stripping lengths and secure connections to prevent signal loss or intermittent contact.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled in a dry, cool place prior to use. When laying the cable, avoid sharp bends and tight radii to preserve conductor integrity. For outdoor and exposed applications, use additional protective conduit or weatherproofing and follow local electrical codes and installation guidelines.
