How to use

Slide the cable boot over the cable before terminating the connector, position it so the boot seats at the connector housing, and then complete the connector termination. For pre-assembled or already-terminated cables, remove the connector if possible, fit the boot and reterminate or use a compatible assembly method. Ensure the boot covers the transition between cable jacket and connector to provide effective strain relief.

Recommendations

Use this boot with MP8 FS-compatible RJ45/patch assemblies and cables with appropriate outer diameters. Do not force the boot onto connectors for which it is not designed, and avoid using it where latch protection is required by the installation. Check compatibility with cable diameter and connector type before installation.
