Kaapeliläpivienti M28 DELOCK, muovi, harmaa, kaapelisidikiinnityksellä, 1 kpl

This Delock cable gland provides a watertight seal for housings where cables or electrical conduits pass through, with an M28 thread size and grey plastic construction. It is supplied as a single piece and is corrosion-resistant and lightweight due to its plastic material.

Advantages

The integrated extension accepts a cable tie to secure the inserted cable and prevent slipping or loosening. The gland is rated IP68 for dust and waterproof protection, offering increased resistance to dirt and moisture. Its robust plastic design makes it suitable for environments where a compact and easy-to-install cable entry is required.

Suitable for

• Sealed cable entries in electrical enclosures
• Cable routing in automation and robotics equipment
• Machinery and industrial panels where waterproofing is needed
• Applications requiring strain relief with a cable tie

How to use

Drill or prepare an M28-threaded entry in the housing, screw the gland into the thread and insert the cable through the gland. Position the cable so the extension allows placement of a cable tie, then fasten a cable tie around the extension to provide strain relief. Ensure the sealing surfaces are clean and the gland is tightened to achieve the IP68 watertight seal.

Recommendations

For reliable sealing and long service life, install the cable gland in compatible M28 threaded entries, avoid overtightening, and check that the cable diameter fits well within the gland. Use an appropriate cable tie and inspect the seal periodically in harsh environments.
