Kaapelilukko DICOTA D31742 hopea 2 m numerolukko

The DICOTA D31742 cable lock secures notebooks and detachable tablets such as Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Go by attaching to the device's kickstand. The lock combines a 2 m long, 4.4 mm diameter sheathed multi-strand steel cable with a user-settable 4-digit combination mechanism, offering a portable security solution for open offices, public spaces and travel. A Velcro strap allows the cable to be rolled up for compact storage.

Advantages

The lock is designed for precise and simple fitting to the kickstand of compatible Microsoft Surface models and does not require a key. The 4-digit numeric combination provides up to 10,000 code variations and the push-to-lock function allows quick securing. The sheathed steel cable resists cutting attempts better than unprotected wire, while the lightweight 163 g construction and included Velcro strap make it easy to carry.

Suitable for

• Securing Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Go devices by the kickstand
• Use in open-plan offices and shared workspaces
• Temporary protection in public areas (cafés, libraries, airports)
• Travel and mobile working

Recommendations

Use the cable lock as a deterrent for opportunistic theft; it does not make the device theft-proof. Pair mechanical security with data protection measures such as device encryption and regular backups. Inspect the cable and lock regularly for damage and replace the lock if any wear or tampering is detected.
