How to use

Slide the preformed marker over the cable so the printed or written identifier faces outward. Ensure the marker sits flush against the cable sheath and is positioned where it will remain visible after installation. For handwritten labels use a permanent marker; for machine-printed text use compatible printers and label stock designed for small cable markers. Repositioning is possible on live installations only when safe access to the cable is ensured and applicable safety procedures are followed.

Recommendations

Place markers near terminations, junctions or entry points into panels to improve traceability. Use consistent numbering or naming schemes across the installation and combine with a wiring diagram for efficient maintenance and troubleshooting.
