Kaapelin puristuspihdit yhdistelmätyökalu Knipex 97 68 145 A

The Knipex 97 68 145 A Cable Crimper Combination Tool is designed for crimping end sleeves (ferrules) according to DIN 46228 parts 1 and 4, covering conductor sizes from 0.25 up to 2.5 mm². The tool features marked trapezoidal dies that provide reliable mechanical and electrical connections between the sleeve and the conductor. Made from forged, oil-hardened vanadium electric steel, the tool is lightweight (0.175 kg) yet robust and suitable for professional electrical and network work.

Advantages

The combination design supports precise crimping of various cable end sleeves within the specified range, while the marked trapezoidal dies ensure repeatable, secure crimps. Construction from vanadium electric steel with forging and oil-hardening delivers long service life and dimensional stability. The tool’s compact size and low weight make it convenient to carry and use in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Crimping ferrules/end sleeves DIN 46228 parts 1 + 4, 0.25–2.5 mm²
• Electrical installation and maintenance work
• Network cabling where secure conductor terminations are required

How to use

Strip the conductor to the appropriate length for the selected ferrule. Insert the ferrule onto the conductor and place it into the matching marked trapezoidal die. Squeeze the handles evenly and completely until the die completes the crimp. Release the handles and remove the crimped connection, then inspect the crimp for firm mechanical hold and proper deformation of the ferrule.

Recommendations

Use ferrules compliant with DIN 46228 parts 1 and 4 within the specified cross-section range. Check dies and cutting edges regularly for wear and keep the tool clean and lightly lubricated at the pivot to maintain precise operation. Do not exceed the stated crimping range to avoid damage to the tool or poor connections.
