Kaapelinsuojasukka itsesulkeutuva DELOCK 2 m x 10 mm oranssi

The DELOCK cable protection sleeve is a self-closing, orange sleeve 2 m long with an approximately 10 mm inner diameter designed to organise and protect individual cables and small cable bundles from abrasion, bending and light mechanical impact. Constructed from polyester monofilament and multifilament fibres, the sleeve is cuttable to length and can be routed through equipment racks, workstations or along walls where improved visibility and clear cable identification are required.

Advantages

This cable protection sleeve closes around cables automatically via the self-closing slit, allowing cables to be added or removed repeatedly without tools. The polyester fibre construction provides increased abrasion resistance and enhanced flame performance meeting UL 94 flammability class requirements. The bright orange jacket improves visibility for easier identification and safer routing in workshop, industrial or network environments. The sleeve is reusable and can be shortened to size by hot cutting.

Suitable for

• Organising and protecting individual cables and small cable bundles in racks and cabinets
• Routing visible wiring in workshops, server rooms and industrial facilities where high visibility is needed
• Protecting cables from abrasion and light mechanical contact along cable runs
• Temporary or permanent cable management tasks that require frequent access to individual cables

When it may not be suitable

This sleeve is intended for individual cables and small bundles; it is not designed for very large or thick cable assemblies that exceed the sleeve's approximately 10 mm diameter. It provides protection against abrasion, bending and light mechanical impact but is not a substitute for rigid conduit or full mechanical armour where heavy impact, deep cuts or full weatherproofing are required.

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Approximate inner diameter: 10 mm
• Material: polyester monofilament and multifilament
• Temperature range: -40 °C to 150 °C
• Flammability classification: UL 94
• Colour: orange
• Reusable and cuttable to length (use hot cutting tool recommended for clean ends)

How to use

Measure and, if necessary, shorten the sleeve to the required length using a hot cutting tool to seal the cut end and prevent fraying. Open the self-closing slit and insert individual cables or small bundles; the sleeve will close around them automatically. Route the sleeved cables along the desired path and secure the sleeve ends with cable ties or clamps if fixed attachment is required. Cables can be removed or reconfigured by opening the slit and sliding them out when maintenance or changes are needed.

What to consider before purchase

• Check the combined diameter of the cables to ensure they fit within the sleeve's approximately 10 mm inner diameter
• Confirm that the sleeve's temperature range (-40 °C to 150 °C) is suitable for the operating environment
• Decide whether visibility and reusability are important; the orange colour improves identification
• For long runs or heavy mechanical protection, consider rigid conduit or larger-diameter protection solutions

Recommendations

For clean, durable results, shorten the sleeve with a hot cutting tool to seal ends, install cables through the self-closing slit without tools, and secure sleeve ends where movement could expose cables. Use the sleeve for visible, reusable cable routing in workshops, cabinets and industrial areas where abrasion protection and high visibility are required.
