Kaapelipäällys DeLOCK 20742 musta keltainen

The Delock Cable Sleeve 20742 is a braided, stretchable sleeve made from polyester in black and yellow. It is designed to bundle and protect exposed cables, wires and tubes from dirt and mechanical damage, and to keep installations organized. The sleeve withstands temperatures from -50 to 150 °C and offers reusable, cuttable protection for various cable diameters.

Advantages

The braided construction provides abrasion and heat resistance while remaining highly stretchable to accommodate cables of different diameters. The sleeve is reusable, allowing cables or tubes to be added or removed multiple times, and it can be cut to length with a hot cutting tool for a clean, fray-resistant edge.

Suitable for

• Bundling PC, AV and power cables
• Protecting wiring looms in automotive or industrial applications
• Organizing cables behind workstations and AV racks
• Routing and protecting exposed tubes and hoses

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 20742
• Material: Polyester
• Colour: Black, Yellow
• Temperature range: -50 to 150 °C

How to use

Measure the required length and, if needed, cut the braided sleeve with scissors. To prevent fraying, finish the cut with a hot cutting tool. Expand the sleeve and slide cables or tubes into place, then release so the braid contracts around them. Adjust positioning as required and secure the ends with heat shrink, cable ties or tape if desired.

Recommendations

For best results, select a sleeve diameter that provides moderate compression without overstretching. When cutting, use a controlled hot-cut to seal the edge and avoid unravelling. Avoid direct contact with open flames and ensure the sleeve's temperature rating suits the application.
