Kaapelisovitin ProXtend DVII245-VGAF DVI-I 24+5 VGA musta

The ProXtend DVII245-VGAF DVI-I 24+5 to VGA cable gender changer provides a compact solution for connecting a DVI-I video output to a VGA display. Constructed with a black housing and standard DVI-I 24+5 and VGA connectors, this adapter enables analog video transfer where DVI-I outputs include legacy VGA signals. It is intended for straightforward signal routing without additional power or converter boxes when the source supports analog output.

Advantages

This cable gender changer offers simple plug-and-play operation, a compact form factor for tight installation spaces, and robust connectors to withstand frequent use. Its design preserves analog video quality by using the DVI-I analog pins for VGA compatibility, reducing the need for separate converters. The black finish blends with most monitor and PC setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting older VGA monitors to devices with a DVI-I 24+5 output
• Office workstations that require legacy display compatibility
• Home PCs or media players with mixed DVI and VGA equipment
• Temporary setups, testing, and repair benches where quick swaps are needed

Key specifications

• Connector 1: DVI-I 24+5 (female/male as applicable)
• Connector 2: VGA (HD15)
• Function: Gender changer / adapter for analog video signals
• Color: Black
• Suitable signal type: Analog VGA compatibility via DVI-I analog pins
• Form factor: Compact inline adapter

How to use

Ensure the DVI-I output on the source device supports analog signals before connecting. Insert the DVI-I end into the source DVI-I port and attach the VGA cable from the monitor to the VGA end of the adapter. Secure connectors if screws are provided to maintain a stable connection. Adjust display settings on the source device as needed to match the monitor's native resolution and refresh rate.

Recommendations

Use this adapter only when the source device's DVI-I port carries analog VGA signals; it does not convert digital-only DVI-D outputs to VGA. For optimal image quality, use short VGA cables and set the display to the monitor's preferred resolution. Avoid excessive cable bending and secure connectors to prevent signal degradation.
