Kaapelisovitin RCA ShiverPeaks BS57035

The ShiverPeaks BS57035 Cable Gender Changer RCA is a compact adapter that converts a single RCA connection to two RCA connections. Designed for audio and video use, it features nickel-plated contacts that improve durability and help maintain reliable signal transfer between devices. This adapter is intended for simple, inline changes of RCA connector gender without requiring additional cables or tools.

Advantages

The nickel-plated contacts resist corrosion and provide stable electrical contact to reduce intermittent signal issues. Its small form factor allows installation in tight spaces and easy transport. The passive design does not require power and introduces minimal insertion loss when connecting consumer audio and composite video equipment.

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA to 2 × RCA (female/male arrangement as required for gender change)
• Contact plating: Nickel-plated contacts for corrosion resistance
• Application: Analog audio and composite video signal paths
• Form factor: Compact, inline adapter suitable for limited-space installations

How to use

Align the RCA plug of your source device with the adapter’s RCA socket and push until firm contact is made. Connect the two RCA connectors on the adapter to the intended receiver inputs. Ensure connections are fully seated to minimise signal loss. When disconnecting, pull straight from the connector to avoid stressing cables or ports. No configuration or power is required.

Recommendations

For best signal quality, use short cable runs and ensure all RCA contacts are clean and free of oxidation. Avoid subjecting the adapter to excessive mechanical strain or sharp bends in attached cables. If using for critical audio work, verify channels after connection to confirm correct routing.
