How to use

Install the STRIKER Vivid 4cv using the supplied tilt/swivel mount or the transom/trolling motor hardware. Connect the GT20 transducer and power up the unit. Select a vivid colour palette on the display to optimise contrast for current light and water conditions. Use GPS to mark waypoints at productive locations and plan routes as needed. Enable CHIRP and ClearVü sonar modes to view traditional sonar returns and scanning images of structure beneath your vessel. Use Quickdraw Contours while running over unfamiliar water to record bathymetry with 1-foot contour lines.

Recommendations

For best results, adjust sonar sensitivity and colour palette to match water clarity and depth; ensure the transducer is mounted so it has an unobstructed view of the water. Regularly save waypoints of productive spots and export Quickdraw maps if you plan to review or back up data.
