Kaiutinkaapeli ShiverPeaks 06-181005 1,5 mm² 100 m punainen/musta

ShiverPeaks 06-181005 speaker cable is a twin-conductor audio cable with a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm² supplied on a 100 m spool. The cable features red and black polarity identification for easy connection of loudspeakers and amplifiers. Constructed for general-purpose audio installations, it is suitable for in-wall or surface runs and multi-room systems where a moderate gauge cable is required.

Advantages

The cable combines a compact 1.5 mm² conductor size with clear polarity markings to simplify installation and reduce wiring errors. Its 100 m spool format allows long continuous runs without frequent joins, which helps maintain signal continuity. The twin-conductor design supports straightforward connection of stereo and mono speaker setups and is compatible with common speaker terminals and binding posts.

Suitable for

• Connecting passive loudspeakers to amplifiers in home audio systems
• In-wall or surface-mounted speaker wiring for residential or commercial spaces
• Multi-room audio and distributed speaker systems with moderate power requirements
• Temporary or permanent installations where a 100 m spool reduces the need for splicing

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm²
• Configuration: twin conductor (parallel) cable
• Length on spool: 100 m
• Polarity marking: red/black conductors
• Typical conductor material: copper-clad aluminium strands (CCA)
• Intended use: speaker/low-frequency audio signals

How to use

Strip an appropriate length of insulation from each conductor to expose the strands, taking care not to nick the conductor. Connect the red-marked conductor to the positive (+) terminal and the black conductor to the negative (–) terminal on both the amplifier and the speaker to maintain correct polarity. For in-wall installations, follow local building codes and use suitable conduit or cable clips for secure routing. When making long runs, avoid routing close to mains power cables to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

For best results in typical home audio applications, use this 1.5 mm² cable for speakers with moderate power demands or in shorter to medium-length runs. If speakers demand higher power or runs exceed recommended lengths for 1.5 mm² wiring, consider a thicker conductor to reduce voltage drop. Always observe local electrical regulations when installing in-wall.
