Kaiutinkaapeli ShiverPeaks 06-18105 1,5 mm² (48x0,20) CCA punainen/musta 25 m

ShiverPeaks 06-18105 speaker cable is a 25 m twin-conductor audio cable with a 1.5 mm² conductor cross-section made from 48 strands of 0.20 mm copper-clad aluminum (CCA). The cable is supplied in a red/black twin-lead format with clear polarity marking, intended for connecting loudspeakers to amplifiers or receivers. Its flexible construction makes it suitable for fixed speaker runs and installations where a CCA conductor is acceptable and cost-effective.

Advantages

The cable combines a moderate conductor cross-section with a multi-strand CCA construction that provides flexibility for routing and installation. Red and black insulation on the twin cores simplifies polarity identification during connection. Offered in a 25 m length, the cable is suitable for medium-length speaker runs without the need for splicing. Its twin-lead design is compatible with standard speaker terminals and common installation practices for home and automotive audio systems.

Suitable for

• Home audio speaker connections for medium-distance runs
• Car audio installations where CCA conductors are acceptable
• Fixed speaker runs in rooms, halls, or conference areas
• Projects requiring flexible, color-coded twin-lead cable

Key specifications

• Length: 25 m
• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm²
• Conductor construction: 48 strands x 0.20 mm, copper-clad aluminum (CCA)
• Configuration: twin conductor (red/black polarity marking)
• Application: loudspeaker to amplifier/receiver connections
• Flexibility: multi-strand construction for easier routing

How to use

Strip the insulation from each conductor end to expose an appropriate length of conductor for the speaker and amplifier terminals, taking care to maintain correct polarity (red = positive, black = negative). If using banana plugs, spade connectors or bare-wire terminals, ensure a secure mechanical and electrical connection and avoid loose strands. Route the cable to minimize interference with power lines and secure it along the run to prevent mechanical strain. For long runs, check continuity and verify impedance to ensure acceptable signal transfer for your specific speakers and amplifier.

Recommendations

Use this cable in installations where CCA conductors meet performance and budget requirements; for critical high-power or long-distance applications, consider using pure copper speaker cable to reduce resistance and improve power transfer. Avoid running the cable parallel to mains wiring to reduce potential interference, and follow manufacturer guidelines for connector preparation and torque where applicable.
