Kaksoisantenni Kathrein BZD 40

The Kathrein BZD 40 is a compact active outdoor DVB-T television antenna designed to receive signals in Band III (VHF) and UHF ranges. The unit measures 204 x 196 x 71 mm and comes in grey. It supports both horizontal and vertical polarisation and is powered via the connected receiver for simplified installation.

Advantages

The antenna combines VHF (BIII) and UHF reception in a single compact housing, reducing the need for multiple antennas. Active amplification fed from the receiver improves signal strength in areas with weak reception. Its small grey enclosure allows flexible mounting options without occupying much space, and support for both horizontal and vertical polarisation increases compatibility with broadcast signals.

How to use

Mount the antenna outdoors in a location with a clear line of sight towards broadcast transmitters. Connect the antenna coaxial cable to the receiver’s antenna input and enable the receiver’s power supply for antenna amplification if required. Perform an automatic channel scan on the receiver to detect available DVB-T channels. Adjust antenna position and orientation (horizontal/vertical) to optimise signal strength and picture quality.

Recommendations

For best results, place the antenna at a height free from nearby large obstacles and avoid obstructions. If reception is unstable, try switching polarisation and fine-tuning the antenna direction; ensure the receiver is configured to supply power to the antenna amplifier if needed.
