PENTEL SES15C-E calligraphy pen with brown water-based ink is designed for decorative lettering, brush-style strokes and hand lettering on paper. The single pen supplies consistent brown colour and a controlled ink flow suitable for practice and finished work. The durable, flexible tip produces a range of line widths from fine to broad, enabling varied stroke styles for greeting cards, bullet journals and illustrations.

Advantages

The water-based dye ink flows smoothly and lays down consistent brown tones without excessive bleeding on suitable paper. The pen's unique, durable tip creates brush-like strokes and allows controlled transitions between thick and thin lines, reducing the need for multiple nibs. How to use

Use on paper suitable for water-based inks to minimise feathering and bleed-through. Hold the pen at varying angles to achieve thin upstrokes and thicker downstrokes; apply light pressure for fine lines and increased pressure for broader strokes. Store horizontally or capped when not in use to maintain ink flow and tip condition. Replace cap after each use to prevent drying.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the pen with smooth, moderately thick paper (90–160 g/m²) designed for inks and calligraphy. Test strokes on a scrap sheet before working on a final piece. Clean any excess ink from the tip with a damp cloth; avoid soaking the pen.
