Kamera-UV-suodatin walimex pro ohut Super DMC 77mm – 77 mm ohut UV-suojasuodatin

The walimex pro Slim Super DMC 77mm is a 77 mm slim UV protection filter designed to reduce ultraviolet haze and protect the front element of camera lenses. Its slim profile helps minimise vignetting on wide-angle lenses while the Super DMC multi-coating reduces reflections and maintains high light transmission for neutral colour rendering. The filter screws onto the lens thread to provide a physical barrier against dust, scratches and accidental contact, while also subtly improving image clarity in bright outdoor and high-altitude conditions.

Advantages

The slim aluminium frame reduces the risk of vignetting on wide-angle lenses and keeps the overall weight and balance of the lens combination low. Super DMC multi-coating lowers surface reflections and ghosting, which improves contrast and preserves natural colours. The filter provides mechanical protection for the front element without affecting autofocus or metering and is thin enough to be used with lens hoods and stacked filter systems in many setups.

Suitable for

• Landscape and outdoor photography where UV haze reduction is required
• Everyday shooting to protect lens front elements from dust and scratches
• Wide-angle lenses that need a slim filter to avoid vignetting
• Travel and field work where lightweight protective accessories are preferred

Key specifications

• Filter diameter: 77 mm
• Mount type: screw-in slim frame suitable for front lens threads
• Frame material: lightweight aluminium with low profile design
• Optical treatment: multi-layer Super DMC anti-reflective coating
• Primary function: ultraviolet (UV) light reduction and physical front-element protection

How to use

Screw the filter gently into the lens front thread until it is secure but not overtightened. Use the filter on wide-angle lenses where the slim profile helps prevent vignetting; it can remain on the lens permanently as a protective element. Clean the filter surface with an appropriate microfibre cloth and lens cleaning fluid when needed. When stacking multiple filters, check for mechanical clearance and image influence, and remove or adjust as necessary.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the filter clean and store it in a protective case when not in use. When shooting in low-light or night conditions where UV reduction is irrelevant, evaluate whether the filter affects exposure or flare for your particular lens and remove it if necessary.
