Kangasteippi 3M Scotch 48 mm x 25 m, hopea, joustava korjausteippi kankaasta

3M Scotch Adhesive Fabric Tape, 48 mm x 25 m in silver, is a flexible cloth repair tape designed for general maintenance, temporary fixes and reinforcement of fabric and non-rigid surfaces. The tape combines a cloth backing that conforms to shapes with a pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated to grip rough and uneven surfaces, making it suitable for patching, bundling and surface protection in domestic and workshop environments.

Advantages

The cloth construction provides flexibility and tearability by hand while maintaining dimensional stability for reliable coverage. Silver finish offers visual contrast or discreet masking depending on the application. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures strong initial tack and adhesion to fabric, hoses, cables and many irregular substrates, enabling quick repairs without special tools. The roll format and standard 48 mm width make the tape easy to handle and apply in tight or curved areas.

Suitable for

• Patching tears and reinforcing seams in tents, awnings and outerwear
• Temporary repairs to hoses, ducts and flexible conduits
• Bundling and securing cables or loose wiring
• Protecting surfaces from abrasion or wear during maintenance tasks
• General-purpose quick fixes around the home or workshop

Key specifications

• Width: 48 mm
• Length: 25 m
• Backing material: flexible cloth
• Color/finish: silver
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive for rough surfaces
• Tearability: designed to tear by hand

How to use

Clean and dry the surface before application to remove dust, oil or loose particles. Measure and cut the required length of tape; the cloth backing allows hand tearing where appropriate. Apply the tape firmly onto the target area, smoothing from the center outward to eliminate air pockets and ensure full contact. For curved or irregular surfaces, press and conform the tape progressively to follow the shape. For longer-term or load-bearing repairs, consider overlapping layers or using additional mechanical fixings as needed.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain adhesive performance. For best adhesion on fabric, test a small area first to confirm compatibility and appearance. Use the tape for temporary or semi-permanent repairs; for permanent structural repairs, select a product specifically specified for that application.
