Kangasteippi Tesa 57230-00005 50 m x 19 mm harmaa – kangasteippi korjauksiin ja tiivistyksiin

Tesa Fabric Tape 57230-00005 is a grey cloth adhesive tape 50 m long and 19 mm wide designed for general repairs, sealing, bundling and reinforcement. The product combines a strong fabric backing with an acrylic adhesive that adheres reliably to a variety of surfaces. Its flexible cloth structure allows the tape to conform to irregular shapes and maintains adhesion under mechanical stress, making it suitable for indoor and short-term outdoor applications where a durable, adaptable tape is required.

Advantages

The cloth backing delivers tear resistance and good dimensional stability while remaining flexible for wrapping and patching. The adhesive layer provides secure bonding to wood, metal, plastics and many painted surfaces without leaving an immediate rigid build-up. The 19 mm width and long 50 m roll length offer versatile handling and reduce the need for frequent replacements when carrying out multiple repair or sealing tasks. The grey colour gives a discreet finish on many surfaces.

Suitable for

• Temporary or semi-permanent repairs of torn materials and fabrics
• Sealing joints, cables and conduit runs
• Bundling and securing small components and hoses
• Reinforcing edges and patches on boxes, tarpaulins and covers
• Workshop, household and light construction tasks

Key specifications

• Length: 50 m
• Width: 19 mm
• Material: cloth (fabric) backing with adhesive coating
• Colour: grey
• Adhesive type: permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for multiple common substrates
• Properties: flexible, tear-resistant, conforms to irregular shapes

How to use

Ensure surfaces are dry, clean and free of dust, grease or loose particles before application. Cut the required length and press the tape firmly onto the substrate, smoothing out wrinkles and ensuring full contact along the adhesive side. For bundling or reinforcement, wrap with moderate tension to secure components without excessive compression. For sealing joints, overlap edges by a few millimetres and press firmly to form a continuous seal. Remove by peeling back steadily; some adhesive residue may remain on highly porous or freshly painted surfaces.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive performance. Avoid applying to wet or frost-covered surfaces. For long-term outdoor exposure or critical sealing applications, consider a tape specifically rated for outdoor durability and UV resistance.
