Kannettava epäkeskohiomakone Black & Decker KA2000-QS

The Portable sander Black & Decker KA2000-QS is a compact oscillating sander designed for light to medium sanding tasks. It is driven by a 120 W motor with an idle speed of 14,000 RPM and features a 2 mm oscillating orbit diameter with 1 mm eccentricity. The tool accepts sanding sheets sized 135 x 95 mm and is fitted with a 2 m power cable to allow flexible movement during work. Its design balances sanding performance and maneuverability for workshop and home maintenance tasks.

Advantages

The sander's 120 W motor and high idle speed provide consistent surface removal and finishing. The 2 mm orbit diameter combined with 1 mm eccentricity offers efficient material removal while helping to reduce visible sanding marks. Compact dimensions and an ergonomic body make it easy to control in confined spaces, and the included 2 m cable reduces the need for frequent position changes relative to a power source. The standardized sheet size simplifies abrasive replacement.

Suitable for

• Preparing wooden surfaces for painting or varnishing
• Removing old paint, varnish, or surface imperfections
• Sanding small furniture parts and trim
• Surface finishing of soft woods and composites

Key specifications

• Motor power: 120 W
• Idle speed: 14,000 RPM
• Oscillating orbit diameter: 2 mm
• Eccentricity: 1 mm
• Sanding sheet size: 135 x 95 mm
• Power cable length: 2 m

How to use

Attach the correct size sanding sheet to the sanding pad according to the manufacturer's fastening method. Connect the sander to a suitable power outlet using the 2 m cable. Switch on the tool and allow it to reach its operating speed before placing it on the workpiece. Move the sander evenly across the surface with light, constant pressure, following the grain for wood where appropriate. Periodically check the abrasive for wear and replace as necessary to maintain consistent sanding results. After use, disconnect from the mains and store the sander in a dry place.

Recommendations

For best results on wooden surfaces, start with a coarser grit to remove material quickly, then progress to finer grits for a smooth finish. Use dust extraction or a vacuum attachment when working for extended periods to reduce airborne dust and maintain visibility of the work surface.
