How to use

Power off the laptop and disconnect it from mains and any external power source. Carefully detach the old keyboard, disconnect the ribbon cable from the motherboard, and remove any retaining brackets. Position the replacement keyboard, connect the ribbon cable securely, and refit any brackets or screws in reverse order. Reinstall the battery and power on the laptop to verify that all keys and the keyboard backlight (if applicable) function correctly.

Recommendations

Use appropriate static precautions and consult a service manual or professional service if unsure about disassembly. If key response or connector seating issues are observed after installation, power down and recheck the ribbon connector seating before continuing. For cleaning, use a soft, lint-free cloth and avoid liquids directly on the keycaps.
