• Trimming cable ends during installation and repair work
• Maintenance tasks in workshops and industrial facilities

• DIY and household wiring projects

Key specifications

• Material: steel cutting head and mechanism
• Overall length: 131 mm
• Approximate weight: 21 g
• Handle: molded black and red grips for improved hold
• Operation: manual, hand-operated cutter

How to use

Position the cable between the cutting blades near the desired cut point, ensuring the blade edge contacts the conductor and insulation as required. Squeeze the handles firmly and steadily to complete the cut in a single motion where possible. For thicker or multi-core cables, make several controlled cuts or use an appropriate larger cutter to avoid damaging the tool or producing an uneven cut. After use, wipe the blades clean and store the cutter in a dry place to limit corrosion.

Recommendations

Use the tool only on cables and wires within its intended capacity—avoid cutting hardened steel, steel rope, or other materials not specified for this cutter. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves when cutting wire. Regularly inspect the cutting edges for nicks or wear and sharpen or replace the tool if cutting performance degrades.
