Käsikäyttöinen putkileikkuri KS Tools 101.1002 paino 30 g

The KS Tools 101.1002 manual pipe cutting tool is a lightweight instrument designed to deliver precise cuts on pipes used in plumbing and light construction work. Weighing approximately 30 g, the tool provides a compact alternative for situations that require controlled, accurate cutting of small-diameter tubing and pipes. Its simple manual operation makes it suitable for environments without power access and for tasks where delicate handling is needed to avoid damage to surrounding materials.

Advantages

This manual pipe cutter combines low weight with straightforward mechanics to enable accurate scoring and cutting of pipe surfaces. The compact form factor improves access in confined spaces and reduces user fatigue during repeated use. The tool’s construction focuses on delivering clean edges and minimizing burr formation, which helps speed up subsequent joining or fitting operations. As a non-powered device, it offers portability and immediate usability without setup or power requirements.

Suitable for

• Cutting small-diameter metal and plastic pipes in plumbing repairs
• On-site adjustments to tubing during installation and maintenance
• Use in confined or hard-to-reach areas where larger tools cannot operate
• Fieldwork and jobs without access to electricity or battery power

Key specifications

• Tool type: manual pipe cutting tool
• Weight: approximately 30 g for easy handling
• Operation: hand-operated, no power source required
• Design purpose: precise cutting of pipes and small-diameter tubing
• Typical materials worked: metal pipes and plastic tubing (appropriate for small diameters)

How to use

Position the cutter on the pipe where the cut is required, ensuring the cutting edge aligns with the desired mark. Apply steady manual pressure while rotating or guiding the tool according to its established cutting motion to produce a consistent cut. After cutting, inspect the edge for burrs or unevenness and remove any sharp fragments with a deburring tool or file if necessary. Follow standard safety practices such as wearing gloves and eye protection during cutting operations.

Recommendations

For best results, use the manual pipe cutting tool on appropriately sized pipes and avoid forcing it through material beyond its intended capacity. Regularly check the cutting edge for wear and maintain it as recommended by the manufacturer to preserve cutting quality and prolong tool life.
