Kathrein KEA 750 satelliittiantenni

The Kathrein KEA 750 satellite antenna is a 75 cm parabolic reflector designed for reception within the 10.7–12.75 GHz frequency band. Constructed from durable aluminum, it delivers a specified gain of 37.4 dBi and supports an elevation angle range from 0° to 80°, allowing flexible alignment for a wide range of geostationary satellites. With a compact form factor and a weight of 4.9 kg, the antenna is intended for fixed installations where reliable satellite signal reception is required.

Advantages

This satellite antenna combines a high-gain parabolic design with corrosion-resistant aluminum construction to provide stable signal performance and a long service life. The 75 cm aperture offers a balance between reception sensitivity and ease of mounting, while the wide elevation adjustment range simplifies alignment to different satellite positions. The antenna's moderate weight makes handling and installation manageable for one or two technicians.

How to use

Mount the Kathrein KEA 750 on a suitably rated mast or wall bracket, ensuring the mounting hardware is tightened to manufacturer torque recommendations and that the structure can safely support the antenna and environmental loads. Point the antenna toward the intended satellite orbital position using a compass or satellite-finding tool, then adjust azimuth and elevation while monitoring signal strength and quality from the receiver. Secure the final alignment, tighten all fasteners, and weather-seal any cable entries and connections. Use a quality coaxial cable and a compatible LNB for KU-band reception.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, install the antenna with a clear line of sight to the satellite and away from large reflective surfaces. Periodically inspect mounting hardware and corrosion-prone areas on the aluminum components, and verify cable and connector integrity to maintain signal quality over time.
