Katkaisulaikka Cimco 208912

The Cimco 208912 cutting disc is designed for cutting stainless steel with a flat centre that supports accurate, stable operation. Supplied as a single pack, this cutting disc fits common angle grinders and is intended for controlled, precise cutting tasks on stainless materials. The construction balances cutting speed and edge life for applications where clean cuts and repeatability are important.

Advantages

The flat-centre design delivers stable contact and reduced wobble during cutting, helping to produce straight cuts and reduce operator corrections. The disc formulation is optimised for stainless steel, providing improved resistance to heat and wear compared with general-purpose cutting wheels. Supplied as a single unit, it is convenient for occasional replacement and for users who require a specific disc type for metalworking tasks.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the cutting disc on a compatible angle grinder following the grinder manufacturer's mounting instructions and ensuring the disc is fitted with the correct orientation. Verify the disc is compatible with the grinder's maximum RPM rating. Use appropriate speed and steady, controlled feed to achieve a clean cut; avoid excessive pressure which can overheat the disc and the workpiece. Allow the disc to cool between long cuts if necessary and replace the disc when wear reduces cutting performance or when damage is visible.

Recommendations

Always wear suitable personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. Ensure workpieces are securely clamped and that sparks are directed away from combustible materials. For best results on stainless steel, use smooth, even cutting motions and check the disc condition regularly to maintain safety and cut quality.
