Katkaisulaikka laminaatille ja sementtilevyille DeWalt DT1470 160x20 mm 40T

DeWalt DT1470 cutting disc, 160x20 mm with 40 teeth, is engineered for precise cutting of laminate and cement plasterboard. Designed to fit angle grinders with a 20 mm bore, this disc produces controlled, clean cuts required in renovation, flooring installation and drywall work. The 40-tooth configuration balances cutting speed and edge quality to minimize chipping and reduce the need for secondary finishing.

Advantages

The disc delivers consistent, straight cuts and reduces splintering on laminate edges thanks to its tooth geometry and material composition. Its 160 mm diameter and 20 mm bore ensure compatibility with a wide range of angle grinders commonly used by professionals and DIYers. The 40-tooth layout provides a compromise between aggressive material removal and smooth finish, making it suitable for tasks where visual edge quality matters. The product is engineered for reliable performance under normal working conditions typical of renovation and flooring projects.

Suitable for

• Cutting laminate flooring planks with minimal chipping
• Trimming cement plasterboard and drywall panels
• On-site renovation and remodeling where controlled cuts are needed
• Professional and home improvement flooring installation

Key specifications

• Diameter: 160 mm
• Bore: 20 mm
• Teeth count: 40
• Intended materials: laminate, cement plasterboard
• Tool compatibility: angle grinders with 20 mm bore

How to use

Install the disc on a compatible angle grinder following the tool manufacturer's instructions for securing blades and attachments. Ensure the grinder is switched off and unplugged or its battery removed before fitting. Use appropriate guard and secure the workpiece to prevent movement. Operate the grinder at the recommended speed range for the disc and apply steady, even pressure while guiding the blade through laminate or cement plasterboard. Allow the disc to reach full speed before contacting the material and avoid forcing the disc to prevent overheating and premature wear.

Recommendations

Always use eye, hearing and respiratory protection when cutting. For best edge quality on laminate, support the plank close to the cut line and cut slowly with a steady feed. For plasterboard, ensure clean, straight cuts by using a firm guide or straightedge. Replace the disc if any visible damage, wobble, or excessive wear appears. Follow the angle grinder manufacturer's safety instructions and recommended RPM limits for the disc.
