Kaulin GEFU 14631 ruostumaton teräs sileä pinta 70 mm

The GEFU 14631 stainless steel rolling pin with a smooth surface is designed to roll dough evenly and with minimal effort. Measuring 70 mm in diameter and 462 mm in total length, this roller combines a high-grade stainless steel barrel with durable plastic ergonomic handles. Integrated ball bearings enable a smooth, consistent rotation of the roller, making it suitable for a wide range of dough types from firm pastry to soft, sticky mixtures.

Advantages

The stainless steel barrel is hygienic, taste-neutral and odourless, and its smooth surface prevents dough from sticking while allowing precise control over thickness. Ball-bearing handles reduce friction and ensure an even glide across the work surface. The robust construction provides a stable, slightly weighted rolling action that helps achieve uniform results without excessive pressure.

Suitable for

• Rolling pastry and shortcrust dough
• Preparing pizza bases and flatbreads
• Rolling fondant, marzipan and icing
• Shaping pasta dough and sheets
• Rolling cookie and biscuit dough

Key specifications

• Barrel material: stainless steel
• Handle material: durable plastic with integrated ball bearings
• Barrel diameter: 70 mm
• Total length: 462 mm
• Surface: smooth, non-porous and easy to clean
• Weight: sturdy, slightly weighted construction for stable rolling

How to use

Place the dough on a lightly floured or silicone-lined work surface and hold the ergonomic handles firmly. Roll from the center outward with even pressure, turning the dough as needed to maintain a uniform thickness. For sticky dough, dust the roller or work surface lightly with flour or use a sheet of baking parchment to prevent sticking. After use, wipe the stainless steel barrel with a damp cloth and dry immediately to maintain the surface quality; remove any residue from the handle bearings if necessary according to normal care procedures.

Recommendations

Use moderate, even pressure and allow the roller’s weight and ball-bearing rotation to smooth the dough for consistent thickness. Avoid prolonged exposure to strong acids or abrasive cleaners to preserve the stainless steel finish. Store in a dry place and dry thoroughly after washing to prevent water spots.
