Leikkuulauta GEFU CUT PRO G-13991 — sulatus- ja leikkuulauta

GEFU CUT PRO G-13991 is a combined defrosting and cutting board designed for everyday kitchen tasks. It provides a stable work surface for slicing, chopping and portioning, while its defrosting function accelerates and controls the thawing of frozen items. The design integrates cutting performance with thermal conductivity features to reduce waiting time when preparing frozen ingredients, making it practical for home kitchens.

Advantages

The board brings together two functions in a single unit: a flat, durable surface for safe cutting and a material or structure that supports faster, even defrosting without the need for running water. It is easy to clean, saves counter space by replacing separate thawing trays, and helps maintain food hygiene by providing a dedicated preparation area. The construction minimizes knife wear and preserves board stability during use.

Suitable for

• Daily meal preparation and portioning of meat, fish, vegetables and fruits
• Controlled thawing of frozen fillets, steaks or prepared meals
• Kitchen tasks requiring a stable, hygienic cutting surface

Key specifications

• Combined functionality: cutting surface and defrosting capability
• Flat, stable work surface suitable for slicing and chopping
• Material engineered to assist thermal transfer for faster thawing
• Compact footprint for countertop use and storage
• Easy-to-clean surface compatible with common kitchen detergents

How to use

Place the board on a dry, stable countertop before use. For defrosting, arrange frozen items on the board surface in a single layer to maximize thermal contact; allow them to thaw at room temperature according to the food safety guidelines for the specific product. For cutting and preparation, use a sharp knife and work on a steady surface; clean the board after each use to avoid cross-contamination. Store the board flat or upright in a dry place when not in use.

Recommendations

After defrosting raw meat or fish, wash the board with hot water and detergent or use a suitable dishwasher-safe cleaning method if applicable. Use separate cutting boards for raw proteins and ready-to-eat foods when possible to maintain hygiene. Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat or open flames to preserve the board's material properties.
