Kehyksen passepartout Walther PA041H 30×40 cm kehykseen, aukko 20×30 cm, samppanja

Walther PA041H picture mat for 30×40 cm frames with a 20×30 cm opening in chamois color provides a tidy, neutral border between image and frame. The mat is designed to improve visual presentation by centering and separating photos, prints or certificates from the glazing and frame, while protecting image edges from contact. Its universal size fits standard 30×40 cm frames and allows easy insertion of a 20×30 cm image or mount.

Advantages

The chamois-coloured mat offers an unobtrusive, warm tone that complements a wide range of image colours and frame styles. It produces a crisp, even margin around the visible area, enhancing perceived depth and focus. The mat also serves a protective function by preventing direct contact between the print and the glazing, helping reduce wear at the edges. Its cut opening is sized to standard dimensions for simple and consistent framing.

Suitable for

• Framing 20×30 cm photos, prints or certificates inside 30×40 cm frames
• Home, office or gallery displays requiring a neutral, warm border
• Presentations where a clear separation between image and frame is needed

Key specifications

• Visible opening: 20×30 cm
• Colour: chamois (warm neutral tone)
• Material: rigid matboard suitable for framing

How to use

Place the image face down on a clean, flat surface and centre it against the mat opening so the visible area aligns with the intended composition. Carefully position the mat over the image, ensuring even margins around all sides, then insert the mat and image into a compatible 30×40 cm frame. Secure the backing of the frame according to the frame manufacturer's instructions. Avoid touching the inner visible area of the image to prevent fingerprints; handle by the edges.

Recommendations

For best results, use archival-quality mounting tape or photo corners to secure the image to the mat, and select glazing with UV protection for long-term display. Store mats flat and away from moisture to prevent warping before use.
