Kehys Franken BS1902 hopea

The Franken BS1902 Silver picture frame combines a matte silver aluminium profile with a lightweight polystyrene backing to present artwork and photographs with a restrained, contemporary look. With an external width of 359 mm, height of 482 mm and a depth of 17 mm, this frame is suited to portrait-oriented prints and images. The frame arrives ready to use and includes one unit in the package.

Advantages

The aluminium construction provides durability while keeping the frame lightweight for easy hanging. The matte silver finish reduces glare and offers a neutral border that complements a wide range of colours and interior styles. The shallow 17 mm depth allows the frame to sit close to the wall for a neat appearance. Materials selected—aluminium for the profile and polystyrene for the backing—ensure corrosion resistance and easy maintenance.

Suitable for

• Displaying portrait photographs and fine art prints sized to the frame's dimensions
• Home interior walls, hallways and living rooms
• Office spaces, meeting rooms and reception areas
• Exhibitions or temporary displays where lightweight, easily mounted frames are required

How to use

Open the rear polystyrene backing to insert your artwork or photograph sized to the frame dimensions. Ensure the image is centered and the mounting surface is clean before replacing the backing. Use the integrated hanging fittings on the rear to mount the frame on a wall; where appropriate, use suitable wall plugs or picture hangers for the wall material. For tabletop display, verify the frame can be supported safely on a flat surface or use a stand designed for framed prints.

Recommendations

To preserve the finish and image, clean the aluminium surface with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. For long-term display, keep the frame out of direct sunlight and high-humidity environments. When hanging on drywall or masonry, select fixings matched to the wall type and the weight of the framed content.
