Keittokattila BergHOFF 1315079, ruostumaton teräs, 3 L tilavuus, 20 cm halkaisija

The BergHOFF 1315079 casserole (3 L) is a stainless steel, recycled cookware piece designed for everyday cooking. With a 20 cm diameter and a capsule base, it delivers fast, even heat distribution and includes practical internal capacity markings. The clear, black-tinted glass lid has an integrated steam vent so you can monitor cooking without lifting the lid. The pot is suitable for all cooktops, including induction, and is ovenproof to 250°C (lid 180°C), making it versatile for stovetop and oven recipes.

Advantages

Made from recycled stainless steel, this 3 L casserole offers durable, scratch-resistant performance and easy maintenance. The capsulated impact-bonded base ensures efficient heat conduction, while the clear glass lid with vent improves convenience and visibility during cooking. Internal capacity marks simplify measuring directly in the pot.

Suitable for

• Preparing stews, goulash and long-simmered dishes
• Cooking soups, sauces and chilis
• Use on gas, electric, ceramic and induction cooktops
• Baking or finishing dishes in the oven (up to 250°C)

When it may not be suitable

The 3 L capacity is designed for small to medium batches; it may be too small for very large families or when cooking bulk portions for freezing. Although the pot is dishwasher-safe, frequent use of harsh detergents and abrasive cleaners can reduce the finish over long-term use.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 3 litres
• Material: Recycled stainless steel
• Diameter (top / bottom): 20 cm
• Overall width with handles: 303 mm
• Ovenproof temperature: up to 250°C (lid up to 180°C)
• Capsule (impact-bonded) base for even heat distribution
• Clear black-tinted glass lid with integrated steam vent

How to use

Place the casserole on a suitable cooktop and heat gradually to the required temperature; the capsule base promotes even heating so adjust heat settings to avoid excessive temperature changes. Use the internal capacity markings when adding liquids or ingredients for precise cooking. When using the oven, remove or check lid temperature limits first (lid safe to 180°C). Clean the pot after cooling—it's dishwasher safe but hand washing with mild detergent preserves the finish longer.

What to consider before purchase

• Capacity of 3 L — suitable for small to medium portions
• Ovenproof limits: pot up to 250°C, lid up to 180°C
• Compatibility with all cooktops, including induction
• Material is recycled stainless steel—durable but may show wear over time

Recommendations

For best results, preheat the casserole gradually on medium heat and avoid thermal shocks by not transferring it directly from high heat to cold surfaces. Use wooden or silicone utensils to protect the stainless steel surface and wash with mild detergent to maintain the finish.
