Kensington H2000 USB-C over-ear-headset

The Kensington H2000 USB-C headset is an over-ear wired headset designed for office and call-centre use. It features a 1.8 m tangle-free nylon braided USB-C cable (with USB-C to USB-A dongle), 40 mm neodymium drivers with a 20–20,000 Hz frequency range, and lightweight construction (approx. 190 g). The headset includes cooling-gel infused memory foam earpads covered in breathable heat-transferring fabric, an adjustable leatherette headband, and rotating joints that allow the earcups to swivel for a secure fit. Compatibility with Windows, macOS and Chrome OS and support for popular calling apps (Microsoft Teams, Zoom and more) allow immediate plug-and-play use.

Advantages

The H2000 provides passive noise isolation plus enhanced environmental noise-cancelling (ENC) microphones that suppress up to 90% of distracting sounds, improving voice clarity on calls. A flip-to-mute rotating boom mic and visual LED indicators for busy and mute status help reduce interruptions. In-line controls for volume, play/pause and mute, sidetone for natural voice monitoring, and built-in hearing protection above 100 dBA add practical functionality for prolonged daily use. The wired USB-C connection delivers consistent audio performance and the long cable gives freedom to stand or move during calls.

Use the in-line controls to adjust volume, play/pause media and toggle mute; LED indicators on the earcups provide visual busy/mute status. Position the boom microphone close to your mouth and flip it up to mute when needed.

Recommendations

For best call clarity, ensure the boom microphone is oriented toward your mouth and keep the environment quiet when possible. Use the sidetone feature to monitor your voice level and enable the busy light to reduce interruptions during important calls. Store the headset in the included flannel travel bag when not in use and avoid exposing the cable to sharp bends.
