Keskitin MediaRange MRCS508 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C musta

The MediaRange USB Type-C hub with four ports allows connection of up to four USB 3.0 devices (for example mouse, keyboard, printer, external hard drive) to a smartphone, tablet, PC or laptop with a USB Type-C port and also supports USB 2.0 devices. The hub is bus-powered via the USB port and does not require an external power supply.

Advantages

The hub provides four USB 3.0 ports for simultaneous use of multiple peripherals, maintains backward compatibility with USB 2.0 devices, and draws power directly from the host device so no separate adapter is needed. Its compact design makes it suitable for mobile and desktop setups.

Key specifications

• Interface: USB Type-C (host)
• Ports: 4 × USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0)
• Power: Bus-powered via USB port (no external power required)
• Compatible devices: Smartphones, tablets, PCs, laptops with USB Type-C socket

How to use

Connect the hub to a device with a USB Type-C port. Plug USB peripherals (mouse, keyboard, printer, external drive, etc.) into the hub's USB 3.0 ports. The host device supplies power automatically; for power-hungry devices consider using their own power source or a powered hub.

Recommendations

Use high-quality USB cables and connect power-intensive devices (such as some external hard drives) to their own power supply or to a hub with external power if you experience unstable operation.
