kirjansuojakalvo agipa 119150 itseliimautuva 500 mm x 10 m läpinäkyvä matt

Self-adhesive book protection film agipa 119150 is a transparent matte covering material 500 mm wide and 10 m long designed to protect book covers, schoolbooks and notebooks from dirt, moisture and wear. The film adheres without additional glue, allowing neat application and long-lasting protection for books used at home, in school or in the office. Its matte finish reduces glare and helps maintain a discreet look while preserving printed covers and labels.

Advantages

The self-adhesive backing ensures straightforward application without separate adhesives and minimizes air bubbles when applied carefully. A 500 mm width accommodates most book sizes and allows overlap for full edge protection. The matte surface lowers reflections and hides fingerprints better than glossy films, while the transparent material preserves cover artwork and text. The roll length of 10 m provides multiple uses for several books or continuous covering tasks.

How to use

Clean the book cover surface from dust and grease before application. Unroll the film and cut a piece slightly larger than the cover to allow for overlap. Peel back a small portion of the backing and align the film with the book edge, then press the film down gradually while smoothing out air bubbles with a flat tool or a clean cloth. Trim excess film with a sharp cutter for neat edges. For rounded spines or thicker books, apply in stages and allow the film to conform to the shape, trimming and folding carefully to avoid creases.

Recommendations

Store the roll flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Test a small piece on an inconspicuous area to confirm compatibility with delicate printed surfaces. Apply at room temperature for best adhesion and avoid stretching the film excessively during installation to prevent distortion.
