Koaksiaalikaapeli RG-58 20 m BNC musta ShiverPeaks BS77520

The ShiverPeaks BS77520 RG-58 coaxial cable is a 20 m BNC-to-BNC cable designed for consistent analogue signal transmission. Constructed with RG-58 impedance characteristics and fitted with male BNC connectors on both ends, this cable provides a flexible length for installations where moderate run distances are required. The black outer jacket resists abrasion and environmental exposure, making the cable suitable for use in equipment racks, CCTV installations, antenna feeds, test benches and other applications that require a reliable BNC connection.

Advantages

This RG-58 cable offers balanced performance for short to medium runs with controlled characteristic impedance to limit reflections and signal loss. The BNC connectors ensure secure, quick connect/disconnect capability. The 20-meter length reduces the need for additional couplers in many typical setups, and the durable black jacket provides mechanical protection and a low-visibility appearance in professional and domestic environments. The construction is suited to maintain signal quality for video, RF and analogue audio or data lines within the cable’s frequency range.

Suitable for

• Connecting CCTV cameras and monitors with BNC interfaces
• Linking radio or VHF/UHF antennas to receivers or transceivers
• Signal routing between test equipment, oscilloscopes and signal generators
• Audio/video distribution systems using analogue BNC connections

Key specifications

• Cable type: RG-58 coaxial
• Connector type: BNC male to BNC male
• Length: 20 meters
• Outer jacket color: black
• Suitable environments: indoor and protected outdoor use

How to use

Route the cable between devices ensuring the connectors are aligned and pushed onto the BNC sockets, then twist the collar to lock each connection. Avoid sharp bends and kinks; maintain a bending radius appropriate for RG-58 cables to prevent impedance changes. If used outdoors or in exposed locations, protect connectors and exposed cable ends from direct moisture and prolonged UV exposure. For optimal signal performance, keep the run length as short as practical and avoid running the coaxial cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.

Recommendations

For best results, verify connector integrity before installation and test the assembled link with appropriate signal or continuity testers. If longer runs or higher frequency performance is required, consider using a cable with lower loss or different impedance characteristics suitable for the specific application.
