koaksiaalikaapeli ShiverPeaks BS81500-STAKU 100 m

The ShiverPeaks BS81500-STAKU 100 m coaxial cable is a 75 Ω copper conductor cable designed for reliable audio and video signal transmission. Constructed with high-quality copper and appropriate shielding, this 100-metre cable supports stable, low-loss connections for installations that require consistent impedance and good mechanical durability. It is suitable for fixed installations where a long continuous run of coaxial cable is required.

Advantages

This coaxial cable provides consistent 75 Ω impedance for minimal signal reflection and improved transmission quality over long distances. The copper conductor offers low resistance and good conductivity, while the cable construction ensures mechanical robustness and long service life. The 100 m length reduces the number of joints or connectors required in larger installations, which helps maintain signal integrity.

Suitable for

• Audio signal distribution for AV systems
• Video signal transmission including CCTV and broadcast applications
• Fixed residential or commercial installations requiring a continuous coax run
• Connections to devices that require 75 Ω impedance cabling

Key specifications

• Length: 100 metres
• Impedance: 75 Ω
• Conductor material: copper
• Intended use: audio and video signal transmission
• Design: coaxial cable construction with shielding suitable for low-loss transmission

How to use

Measure and cut the cable to the required length, allowing for service loops or routing paths. Strip the outer jacket, shield and dielectric according to the connector manufacturer’s instructions and fit compatible 75 Ω connectors to each end. Ensure connectors are properly compressed or crimped and test the assembled run for continuity and signal quality before final installation. Route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference and secure it with appropriate clips or cable management accessories.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use connectors and termination practices rated for 75 Ω systems, avoid sharp bends or kinks, and minimize the number of inline joins. When installing for video surveillance or broadcast, verify signal levels and impedance match at both ends to reduce reflections and ensure consistent image and audio quality.
