Koaksiaalikaapeli ShiverPeaks SAT-Quattro RG6U 1,0/4,8 Double

ShiverPeaks SAT-Quattro RG6U 1.0/4.8 Double is a satellite-grade coaxial cable engineered for SAT‑Quattro installations and general satellite/TV signal distribution. Specified as RG6U with a 1.0 mm central conductor and 4.8 mm dielectric/shield configuration, the cable is designed to provide the electrical characteristics required for stable signal transmission between LNBs, multiswitches and receivers. Its double shielding reduces external interference and helps maintain signal integrity over typical installation distances, suitable for both indoor and outdoor routing when protected from direct mechanical damage.

Advantages

The double-shielded construction offers enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and cross-talk, supporting clearer satellite and terrestrial TV reception. The RG6U format with a 1.0 mm conductor balances flexibility and electrical performance to minimize attenuation in common installation runs. The cable’s consistent geometry and shielding make it compatible with standard F-type connectors and SAT‑Quattro setups, enabling reliable connections to multiswitches and LNB outputs.

Suitable for

• Connecting LNB outputs to multiswitches in SAT‑Quattro systems
• Linking multiswitches or splitters to satellite receivers
• Indoor cable runs behind walls and in cabinets with appropriate conduit
• Outdoor routing in sheltered runs where UV and mechanical protection is provided

Key specifications

• Cable type: Coaxial RG6U
• Conductor diameter: 1.0 mm
• Shielding: Double shield (aluminum foil + braid / CCS) with high shielding effectiveness
• Impedance: 75 Ω
• Intended use: Satellite (SAT‑Quattro) and TV signal distribution

How to use

Strip the cable ends carefully to expose the central conductor and shielding without nicking the conductor. Fit compatible F‑type connectors or connector adapters designed for RG6U; ensure the braid/foil is folded back and the dielectric remains intact for proper seating. For SAT‑Quattro installations, follow the multiswitch and LNB wiring scheme, assigning each cable to the correct Quattro output. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and tight staples to preserve impedance and reduce insertion loss. When used outdoors, install the cable in conduit or under appropriate UV‑resistant protection and seal connector joints against moisture.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use shielded F‑type connectors rated for RG6 and ensure connector crimps or compression fittings are properly applied. Keep cable runs as short and direct as practical, and test signal levels after installation to verify loss and quality; replace any run that shows excessive attenuation or intermittent connections.
