koaksiaaliliitin IEC ShiverPeaks BS82012-2SET

The ShiverPeaks BS82012-2SET coaxial IEC connector pack contains two male IEC connectors designed for reliable audio and video signal transmission. Manufactured by ShiverPeaks, these connectors suit common IEC connection points found on televisions, set-top boxes, DVD/Blu‑ray players and audio equipment. The design focuses on a secure mechanical fit and consistent electrical contact to reduce signal loss and maintain stable reception in domestic and professional installations.

Advantages

These male IEC connectors offer robust metal construction and precise contact surfaces to ensure a durable connection and low-resistance signal path. Supplied as a two-piece set, they provide a cost-effective replacement or upgrade option for damaged or worn connectors. The straightforward design supports quick installation and reliable long-term performance in typical consumer AV setups.

Suitable for

• Replacing damaged or worn IEC connectors on televisions and monitors
• Connecting set-top boxes, DVD/Blu‑ray players and audio receivers to antenna or cable inputs
• Home theatre and multimedia systems maintenance
• Small AV repair and refurbishment projects

Key specifications

• Connector type: male IEC coaxial connector
• Pack quantity: 2 connectors
• Application: audio and video signal transmission
• Material: metal contact surfaces with insulating sleeve (typical construction)
• Compatibility: standard IEC coaxial sockets used in consumer AV equipment

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket and folding back the braid according to the connector's assembly instructions. Insert the cable into the connector body so that the central conductor aligns with the male pin and the braid makes proper contact with the connector shell. Secure the connector by tightening any screw or crimp elements provided, then check the mechanical fit and signal continuity before final installation. Installation requires basic hand tools and some experience with coaxial cable termination.

Recommendations

Use these connectors for standard-definition and high-definition analogue RF connections and typical cable/antenna installations. Ensure correct cable preparation and firm mechanical securing to minimize loss and intermittent connections. For environments with frequent movement or vibration, consider additional strain relief or a professionally crimped termination to improve durability.
