Korjausnauha TESA extra Power Extreme Repair

TESA extra Power Extreme Repair is a self-amalgamating silicone repair tape designed for demanding conditions. The black tape bonds to itself to form an immediate, airtight and watertight seal without sticking to other surfaces. It remains functional on oily substrates and under water, providing a compact solution for sealing and emergency repairs.

Advantages

The tape is pressure-resistant up to 12 bar, UV-stable and temperature-resistant from -60°C to +260°C. It insulates against voltages up to 8000 V and comes in a compact blister pack for convenient storage. Its self-fusing nature ensures a seamless, flexible repair without adhesive residues on surrounding surfaces.

How to use

Cut an appropriate length of tape, remove any loose debris from the repair area and stretch the tape while wrapping it tightly around the object so that successive turns overlap. Continue wrapping until a smooth, even layer is formed; the tape fuses to itself and creates an airtight, watertight seal within minutes. Trim the end and press firmly to ensure full contact between layers. For electrical applications, ensure the specified voltage rating is not exceeded.
