Korttipeli AMIGO Wizard (malli 06900) — strategiapeli perheelle, 10+ vuotta, 45 min

AMIGO Wizard is a strategy card game for families and groups that challenges players to predict the number of tricks they will win each round. Designed for ages 10 and up, the game uses a fixed deck and turn-based play, combining bidding mechanics with simple counting and tactical decisions. A typical session lasts around 45 minutes, making it suitable for evening game nights or casual tournament play where planning and risk assessment are rewarded.

Advantages

The game encourages logical thinking and forward planning through its trick-prediction and bidding mechanics. Rules are straightforward enough for family players while offering strategic depth for more experienced groups. Compact deck and moderate playtime make it easy to set up, play multiple rounds, and transport between households. Social interaction and competitive scoring keep sessions engaging without lengthy rule explanations.

Suitable for

• Family game nights with older children and teens
• Casual group play among friends
• Light competitive or home tournament sessions
• Players developing planning and risk-assessment skills

Key specifications

• Player age recommendation: 10 years and older
• Average playtime: approximately 45 minutes per session
• Game type: strategy card game with trick-taking and bidding mechanics
• Play mode: turn-based rounds with predictable hand sizes
• Player interaction: competitive scoring and trick prediction

How to use

Shuffle the fixed deck and deal cards according to the number of players and the current round. Each round, players bid the number of tricks they expect to win; play proceeds in turns with each player following suit or using special cards when available. After all tricks are played, compare actual tricks won to declared bids and score points based on accuracy. Repeat for the agreed number of rounds or until the deck-based round limit is reached.

Recommendations

For balanced sessions, play with three to six participants and agree on a fixed number of rounds before starting. Use a scoring sheet or app to track bids and results to speed up scoring and support light tournament play. Allow a single practice round for new players to learn bidding rhythm without affecting final scores.
