The POLY EncorePro HW530/540 Small Leatherette Ear Cushion in black is a replacement accessory designed to restore comfort and acoustic isolation to compatible headsets. Made from leatherette material, the cushion delivers a soft surface that sits against the ear while covering the speaker housing of POLY EncorePro HW530 and HW540 models. Its small size matches the original ear pads of these headsets to maintain fit, positioning, and microphone pickup characteristics.

Advantages

This leatherette ear cushion provides a durable outer surface that resists wear and maintains shape over time. The soft padding improves comfort during extended use and helps reduce external noise through passive isolation. Designed for direct compatibility with POLY EncorePro HW530 and HW540 headsets, the cushion ensures consistent acoustic coupling and preserves the intended sound profile of the headset.

Suitable for

• Replacing worn or damaged ear cushions on POLY EncorePro HW530 and HW540 headsets
• Maintaining hygiene by swapping old pads for fresh leatherette covers
• Improving passive noise isolation in office and call-centre environments
• Restoring proper fit and comfort for users with the small earcup size

Key specifications

• Material: leatherette outer cover with soft inner foam padding
• Color: black
• Compatible models: POLY EncorePro HW530, POLY EncorePro HW540
• Size: small ear cushion designed for the corresponding headset earcups
• Function: replacement ear cushion for improved comfort and isolation

How to use

To replace the ear cushion, remove the old pad from the headset by gently peeling it away from the earcup rim. Align the new leatherette cushion with the headset earcup and stretch the cushion's retaining lip evenly around the rim until it sits securely in place. Ensure the cushion is correctly oriented and that the speaker opening is unobstructed. No tools are required for installation; if necessary, clean the earcup surface before fitting the new cushion to remove dust or residue.

Recommendations

For best results, replace ear cushions when signs of wear, cracking, or decreased comfort appear. Clean leatherette surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals. Store spare cushions in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
