Kuitu-Keystone-liitin ShiverPeaks SC-SC simplex aqua

The ShiverPeaks SC-SC Simplex keystone fiber optic connector in aqua provides a compact, panel- and wall-plate-mountable SC simplex interface for single-fiber connections. Designed for use in keystone wall plates and patch panels, this connector enables straightforward SC to SC fiber patching and extension for data, telecom and enterprise network terminations. The aqua color indicates suitability for multimode OM3/OM4 installations where color coding simplifies identification during deployment and maintenance.

Advantages

This keystone-style SC-SC simplex connector offers a reliable mechanical interface for fiber patching with a compact footprint that fits standard keystone openings. Its SC simplex format ensures consistent mating and low-profile placement in densely populated panels. The connector is color-coded aqua to match common multimode cabling standards, which helps reduce installation errors and speeds up identification. Constructed for easy insertion into keystone wall plates and patch panels, it supports organized cable management and straightforward reconfiguration.

Suitable for

• Multimode OM3/OM4 fiber patching and extensions
• Keystone wall plates and faceplates in offices and comms rooms
• Patch panels and fiber enclosures in data centers and telecom closets
• Enterprise network terminations and organized fiber distributions

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC to SC simplex
• Compatibility: Keystone-style opening for wall plates and patch panels
• Fiber mode: Optimized for multimode (aqua color indicating OM3/OM4)
• Interface: Simplex single-fiber connection
• Physical format: Low-profile SC simplex housing for dense installations

How to use

Insert the keystone connector into a compatible keystone opening on a wall plate or patch panel until it clicks into place. Attach pre-terminated SC fiber pigtails or patch cords to the SC receptacle, ensuring that fiber connectors are clean and dust-free before mating. For removal, depress the retention clips and pull the keystone module out of the plate or panel. Follow standard fiber handling and safety procedures, including using appropriate cleaning tools and eye protection when working with fiber ends.

Recommendations

Use this aqua SC-SC simplex keystone connector with matching multimode OM3/OM4 patch cords to maintain consistent link performance and color-coded organization. Clean connector endfaces prior to mating and avoid excessive bending or strain on the fiber to preserve signal integrity.
