Kuitu-Keystone-liitin ShiverPeaks SC-SC simplex violetti

The ShiverPeaks SC-SC Simplex Violet keystone-style fiber optic connector provides a compact, modular solution for SC to SC simplex fiber connections. Designed for installation in standard keystone openings, patch panels, wall plates and keystone housings, this violet connector simplifies single-fiber terminations and indoor cabling tasks. Its keystone form factor saves space and allows easy front-facing access for patching and fiber management in structured network environments.

Advantages

The keystone design enables quick snap-in installation into compatible panels and plates without additional adapters or brackets. Color coding in violet helps identify specific fiber runs or services at a glance and supports organized cable management. The connector is intended for simplex SC connections, offering reliable single-fiber optical coupling and consistent alignment for low insertion loss and repeatable performance when mated with SC simplex adapters or patch cords. Its compact footprint is suitable for dense installations where modularity and neat routing are required.

Suitable for

• Indoor single-fiber network runs and patching
• Keystone wall plates and faceplates in offices and data closets
• Modular patch panels and keystone housings
• Color-coded fiber management and service identification

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC to SC simplex keystone-style
• Mounting: standard keystone snap-in form factor for panels and wall plates
• Configuration: simplex (single fiber)
• Color: violet for visual identification
• Application: indoor cabling, patching, structured wiring

How to use

Prepare the fiber cable and terminate the fiber with compatible SC simplex terminations or use pre-terminated pigtails as required by your installation practice. Insert the keystone connector into a compatible keystone opening on a wall plate, faceplate or patch panel until it snaps securely into place. Connect matching SC simplex adapters or SC patch cords to establish the optical link. Maintain proper cleaning of ferrules and follow standard fiber handling procedures to minimize insertion loss and prevent contamination.

Recommendations

Use this SC-SC simplex keystone connector for indoor, low-bend-radius installations and in environments where color-coded identification improves maintenance efficiency. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating and avoid excessive bending or tension on the fiber near the connector to preserve optical performance.
