Kuitu-kytkin DeLOCK 86892 SC Duplex liitin SC Duplex liittimeen, vihreä

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Coupler 86892 is an SC Duplex female-to-female adapter designed for single-mode fiber applications. It provides a direct connection between two SC Duplex male connectors and is suitable for mounting in fiber connection boxes, cabinets and patch panels. The unit is compact (25.6 × 34.7 × 9.3 mm) and comes in green color for easy identification; it is supplied as a single piece.

Advantages

The coupling features an integrated flip mechanism that provides protection against laser radiation. A dust cap is included to protect the ferrule and keep the sleeve clean. Its SC Duplex female interfaces ensure stable alignment for single-mode optical fibers while the compact form factor supports simple installation in standard fibre infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Connecting two SC Duplex single-mode fiber cables
• Installation in optical fiber connection boxes
• Mounting in cabinets and patch panels
• Field or rack installations where a compact SC adapter is required

How to use

Remove the dust caps from the SC Duplex connectors to be joined and from the coupler. Open the integrated flip if it is covering the sleeve. Align the SC Duplex male connectors with the coupler’s female ports and push them in until they click or seat firmly. Close the flip if required for laser protection and replace dust caps on unused ports. Ensure connectors are clean and free of debris before mating to avoid signal loss or damage.

Recommendations

Before connecting fibers, inspect and, if necessary, clean connector end-faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Use the dust cap when the coupler is not in use and avoid bending the fiber beyond its minimum bend radius. Follow standard single-mode fiber handling and laser-safety procedures.
