Kuitu-liitäntä LC/LC naaras/naaras ShiverPeaks BS07-60020

The ShiverPeaks BS07-60020 LC/LC Female/Female fibre optic connector is designed for bulkhead installations where reliable single-mode signal transmission is required. This compact adapter provides a stable mechanical connection between two LC-terminated fibre cables through a panel or enclosure, maintaining alignment and low insertion loss for LAN, telecom and data centre links.

Advantages

This LC/LC female/female adapter offers precise ferrule alignment and consistent optical performance across repeated mating cycles. Its compact duplex form factor saves panel space and supports easy installation in racks and wall plates. Constructed to maintain low insertion loss and good return loss, the adapter minimizes signal degradation and supports high-density fibre deployments.

Suitable for

• Connecting two LC-terminated single-mode fibre cables through a bulkhead or panel
• Patch panels and equipment enclosures in networking racks
• Telecommunications and data centre fibre links requiring compact duplex connectors
• Field and lab setups where consistent mating performance is needed

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC/LC duplex female to female adapter
• Application: bulkhead/panel mounting
• Fibre type compatibility: single-mode
• Form factor: compact duplex
• Optical performance: low insertion loss and suitable return loss for single-mode links
• Construction: panel-mount compatible housing designed for stable ferrule alignment

How to use

Install the adapter into the cutout of a patch panel or bulkhead using the appropriate mounting method for the enclosure. Once secured, insert LC-terminated fibre patch cords into each side of the adapter until they click into place, ensuring correct orientation for duplex pairs. Verify optical continuity and signal quality with appropriate test equipment after installation and follow standard fibre handling precautions to avoid contamination and damage to the ferrules.

Recommendations

Keep dust caps on unused ports and clean connector end faces with approved fibre cleaners before mating. Avoid excessive bending of connected fibre cables near the adapter and verify insertion loss with an optical power meter or test source after deployment to ensure optimal performance.
