Kuitu-liitin LC/LC naaras/naaras ShiverPeaks BS07-60041

The ShiverPeaks BS07-60041 LC/LC Female/Female fibre optic connector is a bulkhead-style coupling designed to join two LC-terminated fibre cables securely in rack, panel or enclosure installations. It provides a compact and standardized interface for single-mode or multimode LC connectors, enabling straightforward mating through a female-to-female coupling. The product is intended to maintain signal integrity and minimize insertion loss where a fixed panel-mounted join is required.

Advantages

This bulkhead LC/LC female-to-female connector offers a space-efficient form factor suitable for high-density patch panels and fibre outlets. Its standardized LC interface ensures compatibility with common LC-terminated patch cords and pigtails. The bulkhead mounting simplifies installation and provides a fixed, reliable connection point that reduces mechanical stress on connected fibre cables and helps maintain consistent optical performance over time.

Suitable for

• Rack or wall-mount patch panels and fibre distribution frames
• Optical enclosures and wall boxes requiring a secure LC coupling
• Workshop and field terminations where a permanent bulkhead join is preferred
• Telecommunications, data centre and campus network links

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC female to LC female (bulkhead coupling)
• Form factor: Duplex LC compatible
• Mounting style: Panel/bulkhead mount for fixed installations
• Application: Joins two LC-terminated fibre cables for optical signal transmission
• Compatibility: Designed for standard LC fibre connectors used in single-mode and multimode systems

How to use

Install the bulkhead connector into the designated cutout in a patch panel, chassis or wall plate and secure it according to the enclosure manufacturer’s instructions. Align LC-terminated patch cords or pigtails with the female coupling and insert until the latch engages. Verify proper mating by checking that the connectors are seated and latched; then perform optical tests such as insertion loss and return loss measurements to confirm signal integrity. Use dust caps when the connector is not in use to protect the ferrule endfaces.

Recommendations

Handle fibre connectors carefully to avoid contamination and physical damage. Clean endfaces before mating with appropriate fibre cleaning tools and follow standard fibre optic installation and safety procedures. For high-density deployments, plan cable routing to minimize bending and strain at the bulkhead to maintain optimal optical performance.
