Kuitu-liitin LC/LC naaras/naaras ShiverPeaks BS07-60042

The ShiverPeaks BS07-60042 LC/LC Female/Female fibre optic connector is a bulkhead-style adapter designed to join two LC-terminated fibre cables in a panel or enclosure. It provides a compact, duplex interface for single-mode or multi-mode LC plugs, enabling straightforward mating of LC connectors through a wall, patch panel or fibre housing. Supplied as a single pack, this adapter is intended for in-line or panel-mounted use where a secure, low-loss connection is required for optical networking and telecommunication installations.

Advantages

This bulkhead LC/LC female-to-female adapter delivers consistent alignment between mating LC connectors, helping to minimise insertion loss and back reflection. Its compact duplex form factor saves panel space while maintaining reliable mechanical retention for LC plugs. The design supports straightforward installation in standard cutouts and offers compatibility with a broad range of LC-terminated fibre cables used in data centres, telecom rooms and network cabinets.

Suitable for

• Connecting two LC-terminated fibre cables through a panel or bulkhead
• Data centre patch panels and rack-mounted enclosures
• Telecommunication and network cabling infrastructure
• Laboratory or test-bench setups requiring removable LC connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC to LC, female/female (duplex)
• Mounting style: bulkhead / panel adapter
• Package quantity: single unit
• Compatibility: accepts standard LC fibre plugs (single-mode and multi-mode)
• Form factor: compact duplex housing for high-density installations

How to use

Install the adapter into the appropriate panel cutout or bulkhead opening until it is securely seated. Insert LC-terminated fibre plugs into each side of the adapter, ensuring the keyed orientation of LC connectors aligns with the adapter ports. Confirm that each plug clicks into place and that the connection is stable before powering the optical link. For removal, depress the LC connector latch and gently withdraw the plug to avoid disturbing adjacent fibres.

Recommendations

Handle fibre connectors with clean hands and, where possible, use fibre cleaning tools or alcohol wipes to clean endfaces before mating. Avoid excessive bending near the connector; follow cable manufacturer bend-radius guidelines and ensure proper strain relief at the bulkhead to maintain optical performance and reduce the risk of damage.
