Kuitu-liitin SC/SC naaras/naaras ShiverPeaks BS07-60052

The ShiverPeaks BS07-60052 SC/SC Female/Female fibre optic connector is a bulkhead-style coupling intended for joining two SC-terminated fibre cables through a panel or chassis. Engineered for optical network applications, the connector provides an aligned, low-loss interface between SC connectors while supporting straightforward installation in patch panels, enclosures, or equipment bulkheads. Its design focuses on maintaining signal integrity and stable mechanical alignment for multimode or singlemode networks where SC interfaces are used.

Advantages

This SC/SC female-to-female bulkhead connector offers consistent optical performance with stable mating alignment and low insertion loss. Its bulkhead format enables secure panel mounting, helping to protect cable terminations and to organize cable routing in racks or enclosures. The connector is compatible with standard SC ferrules and provides a durable mechanical coupling suitable for repeated insertions and reliable long-term use in structured cabling and equipment interfaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting two SC-terminated fibre cables through a panel or chassis
• Use in patch panels and distribution enclosures
• Optical equipment interfaces and rack-mounted installations
• Structured cabling in offices, data centres, and broadcast facilities

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC female to SC female bulkhead coupling
• Application: panel/chassis bulkhead mounting for fibre connections
• Compatibility: standard SC ferrule terminations (singlemode or multimode)
• Mechanical format: bulkhead coupler designed for fixed mounting
• Durability: designed for multiple mating cycles and stable alignment

How to use

Install the coupling into the panel or chassis cut-out designed for SC bulkheads and secure it according to the equipment’s mounting method. Insert SC-terminated fibre patch cords or pigtails into each side of the coupling until they click or seat firmly, ensuring ferrule faces are clean and free of contamination before mating. For removal, gently depress any retention feature and withdraw the connector to avoid damaging ferrules or the coupling. Regular inspection and cleaning of the ferrule endfaces will help maintain low insertion loss and reliable optical performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools and inspection equipment prior to mating. Avoid excessive mechanical stress on connected cables and ensure the bulkhead is mounted in a stable position within the rack or enclosure to minimise movement that could affect optical alignment.
