Kuitu-liitin SC/SC naaras/naaras ShiverPeaks BS07-60054

The ShiverPeaks BS07-60054 SC/SC Female/Female fibre optic connector is a bulkhead-style adapter designed to join two SC-terminated fibre cables through a panel or chassis. Constructed to maintain precise optical alignment, this connector supports reliable signal transmission in telecommunications and data network environments. Supplied as a single unit, the adapter provides a standardized interface for SC simplex or duplex assemblies and is suitable for use where secure, low-loss connections are required.

Advantages

The SC/SC female-to-female bulkhead adapter offers stable mechanical coupling and preserves endface alignment to minimize insertion loss and back reflection. Its compact bulkhead form factor simplifies panel mounting and cable management in patch panels, enclosures, and distribution frames. The adapter's standardized SC interface ensures wide compatibility with SC-terminated singlemode and multimode patch cords and equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting SC-terminated fibre patch cords through panels or racks
• Patch panels and fibre distribution frames in telecom rooms
• Network enclosures, wall plates, and chassis bulkhead installations
• Singlemode and multimode fibre link testing and temporary connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC female to SC female (bulkhead adapter)
• Mounting style: panel / bulkhead
• Interface: standard SC simplex/duplex geometry
• Typical application: fibre optic patching and panel-to-panel connections
• Material and finish: precision ceramic/sleeve alignment (standard for low-loss adapters)
• Compatibility: SC-terminated fibre optic patch cords (singlemode and multimode)

How to use

Install the SC/SC female bulkhead adapter into the panel cutout or chassis aperture and secure it according to the enclosure's mounting method. Insert SC-terminated patch cords into each side of the adapter until they click into place, ensuring connectors are clean and undamaged to prevent increased insertion loss. For removal, depress the connector latch and pull the patch cord straight out. Regularly inspect and, if needed, clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre-optic cleaning tools before mating.

Recommendations

Use this adapter with properly cleaned SC connectors and avoid excessive bending of fibre patch cords near the bulkhead. For critical links, perform insertion loss and return loss checks after installation and follow industry-standard handling procedures to maintain optical performance.
